A Busy Weekend

We had a very eventful Memorial Day Weekend. We got in a lot of family time in just a few days. I won't bore you with words but just wanted to show you some pictures and a video!
It began with a trip to the Dallas Zoo! (Those of you from DBU we saw Zach there!)

Paitently waiting to get started!

Saydee loved watching the penguins!

Kirbee cracked up when the penguins dove into the water!

After running a few more errands in town we headed to Grandmommies house to go swimming!

And then it was bath time!!

On Sunday Kirbee went to her first dance recital- she did not get to perform on stage but she did get to go up and get a perfect attendance medal for our Mommy and Me Class. I will have to put the video of her dancing on later. I tried today but I think my computer might be tired- I don't think it is working but for some reason if it shows up enjoy!

We did lots of other things too- like visit Mimi and Grandpa's donkies, went to two cookouts, rode in the wagon and of course went swimming some more. I will update with some more pictures later this week. Hope you enjoyed!

"Poop Daddy"

Oh the joys of potty training. Kirbee for the most part is potty trained now. I can't believe I am saying that- it seems like she was starting to crawl- it goes so fast! We had a funny incident happen on Sunday. It was Corey and my 6 year anniversary and because Corey is the best husband in the whole world he went with me shopping after coming back from our weekend away (where I shopped some more), Corey decided to take Kirbee to one store and I took Saydee to a different, we were not there long when Corey and Kirbee came back because he said she needed to go potty. She never said anything when she got to me so I just thought she was just wanting to test out the bathroom, like we do every place we go, I continued to shop and had gone into the dressing room when I heard this voice "Alicia, can you come out here please." I went out, in the clothes I was trying on, and to my dismay I say a "poop" lying in the floor!! Kirbee had told her daddy "poop daddy," Corey thought she was saying that she needed to poop, but what she was saying was that there was poop on the floor! She had pooped in her panties and then it fell out I guess. I told Corey to hurry and take her to the potty and I would change and be there as soon as I could. When I got to the bathroom, just one in the whole store, I saw Corey standing there- door wide open, with Kirbee trying to get the poop off! What a sight and a great daddy for helping! Daddy left and mommy took over- we got it cleaned up and checked out. Of course at the counter I had to tell the lady that I thought their toilet was overflowing. I didn't mention it was our fault! I won't mention what store we were at just in case we aren't asked to come back! By the way I did clean up the poop that was on the floor before we left. What great memories!

Our little Smurf

I said in the beginning that I would probably have a hard time writing a lot. I am hoping that once school is out I will have more time! Yesterday I took the girls back to the grocery store and it was not that bad, but on our way home we had to go and get a snow cone. We know the girl who owns the stand so we asked for a suggestion on what kind we should get... she said "Bubble Gum BLUE" I emphasize BLUE because that is what Kirbee looked like when we were done. She even had blue on her tummy and she was wearing a shirt!! It was cute and of course I took pictures. Saydee did not get to enjoy one "yet" but she still had fun going along for the ride.

Saydee is talking so much now and she really enjoys eating her dinner. I will try to get a clip of her up soon- it is so precious!! Have a great evening and if I do not "blog" before have a wonderful Mother's Day to all of you who are mothers or soon to be mothers! It is the most wonderful blessing ever!
